Eline Pollaert

Biography

Eline Pollaert [they/she] researches Dutch disability history at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. Their PhD project focuses on Het Dorp (‘The Village’), an accessible neighbourhood that was built for people with severe physical disabilities after the first ever Dutch telethon in 1962.
