Biography

During five decades as an artist and journalist in rural Maine, I have interviewed over 250 Maine people for local, state, and national publications. What I have not done is chronicle the stories buried in the foreign soil of my own family. I want my progeny to understand what I cannot explain, and to do this in a way that deepens our apprecia=on of oral history’s value and power.
