Biography

Thaler Pekar is an expert on institutional storytelling, guides leaders on engaging and inspiring audiences through oral history. For 19 years, she and her team at Thaler Pekar & Partners have provided counsel on speaking, listening, narrative, and story. Thaler works around the world and across sectors producing award-winning, multiplatform media and developing oral histories and story collections. Her work on the ethics of working with story, participatory narrative, and story elicitation is featured in six books.

Kitty Overton is an expert in multi-platform production. After a career in film, television, advertising, and social change communications, Kitty is focused on creative collaborations with visionary change-makers working to address our most pressing environmental, social justice, and human rights challenges. At Thaler Pekar & Partners, she lends her expertise in strategy and oversees the development and production of award-winning, impact-focused projects ranging from institutional oral history to print and multi-platform digital content.
