Anabelle Selvaggio

Biography

Anabelle Selvaggio is a PhD Candidate at the Centre for Contemporary Histories at Deakin University, Australia. Her thesis explores the transnational histories of Sicilian migration to Australia. Anabelle completed her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in 2023, charting the representation of Papua New Guinea in Australian newspapers before, during, and after colonisation.
