Avishek Biswas

Biography

Avishek Biswas is Assistant Professor of English Literature at Vidyasagar college (affiliated to University of Calcutta). He is one of the authors of a recently published book ‘Being Hindu in Bangladesh’ by Harper Collins, India. He was awarded his doctoral degree by Jadavpur University (India) for his thesis titled ‘Heard History, Unheard Voices: Oral Narratives of Namasudra Partition Survivors’. Dr. Biswas has presented his research papers in many conferences and published his articles in reputed journals.
