Marta Guerreiro Bernardino

Biography

Historian. I concluded master’s degree in History in 2018 (UCLouvain). I teached History and Geography in Lubumbashi from 2018 to 2020; and History and French in Kinshasa and Brussels from 2021 and 2023. In 2021 I participated in the development of the exhibition project “Identités Décoloniales: de l’Afrique à Mons”, including the voices of former settlers’s descendants. In July 2023 I started a PhD in Contemporary History (UCLouvain) focused on memories and the intergenerational dimension of these memories among Congolese in Belgium and Congo.
