Ros Kane


Biography

Ros Kane is the Director of Research in the School of Health and Coare Sciences at the University of Lincoln in the UK, where she leads the Mental Health, Health and Social Care Research Group (MH2aSC). With a background in gynaecological nursing, Ros later graduated from University College London (UCL) with a BSc (Hons) in Anthropology and Geography and from The London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM) with an MSc in Medical Demography. Ros worked for ten years in the Centre for Sexual and Reproductive Health Research at LSHTM where she completed her PhD in 2005 which was a mixed methods study of the sexual and reproductive health needs of adolescents. She has been Principal Investigator on a wide range of studies pertaining to public health, with a focus on service access and delivery.
