Agnieszka Nowakowska

Biography

Agnieszka Nowakowska, Ph.D., University of Warsaw, is a sociologist and historian. She has conducted field research in Poland and Lithuania. Her main interests are memory studies and the sociology of education. Her doctoral thesis examined history teaching in Vilnius, describing the results of contact between official narratives of the past and everyday memory practices.
