Edeyan Maya Omoweh

Biography

Edeyan Maya Omoweh is a United Nations award winning story teller who writes poetry and short stories, In addition she has a masters degree in Cultural and Media studies from the University of Ibadan and remains as a researcher affiliated with the Institute of African studies and other organizations. She is passionate about innovative ways to gatekeep cultural histories and identities facing extinction especially regarding child-maternal healthcare. She continues to find ways to contribute to cultural and environmental sustainability through her research and creative works.
